Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menu specifications. Assist in the overall kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards. Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service and address any issues that arise during service. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure the safety and quality of all food items. Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety practices.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment. Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy kitchen setting. Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within the culinary field. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.85-$20.00 per hour
