We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, ensure food safety standards are maintained, and support the kitchen staff in delivering high-quality meals. Duties

Prepare ingredients and assist with food preparation tasks to ensure timely service Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to maintain consistency Assist in cooking and assembling dishes as directed by the head chef or kitchen supervisor Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including washing, peeling, chopping, and measuring ingredients Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling and sanitation procedures Support food service operations by ensuring all items are prepared according to quality standards Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of supplies needed Follow all health and safety regulations to uphold a safe working environment

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques Experience working in a restaurant or kitchen environment is a plus Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Strong teamwork skills and good communication abilities Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or evenings if needed Passion for the food industry and a desire to grow culinary skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.76-$19.25 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
