Fit Kitchen is a fast-growing meal prep company specializing in providing fresh, healthy, and balanced meals to clients. We are looking for a detail-oriented Kitchen Plater to join our dynamic team. The Kitchen Plater is responsible for portioning, weighing, and plating the ingredients that construct our Fit Kitchen meals according to our high standards. This role involves following precise recipes and guidelines to ensure consistency in our meals. Some food prep tasks, such as chopping vegetables and cutting meats, will also be required.
Duties
Portion and Weigh Ingredients
: Ensure that all meals are portioned accurately using digital scales, according to company standards for weight and portion size.
Plate Meals
: Arrange and plate food in an aesthetically pleasing and consistent manner, ensuring quality control of the final product.
Follow Recipes and Guidelines
: Strictly follow company recipes and plating guidelines to ensure consistency in meal presentation and nutrition.
Food Prep Tasks
: Assist with kitchen prep work, including chopping vegetables, cutting meats, and preparing sauces or ingredients in advance.
Adhere to Health and Safety Standards
: Follow food safety protocols and maintain a clean, sanitary work environment. Ensure food handling is compliant with local health department regulations.
Collaborate with Kitchen Team
: Work closely with the rest of the kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and completion of daily production goals.
Maintain Workstation Cleanliness
: Keep your workstation and equipment clean and organized, ensuring all tools and surfaces are sanitized throughout the shift.
Skills

: Ability to follow precise measurements and plating standards, ensuring consistency and presentation quality.
Basic Food Preparation
: Experience in basic food prep, including chopping vegetables and cutting meat. Knife skills and the ability to work with prep tools are important.
