Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist with meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly handled.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
Follow food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of all patrons.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Assist in inventory management by reporting low stock levels of ingredients or supplies.
Participate in training sessions on food handling, cooking techniques, and safety protocols.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods is a plus.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
