We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. You will be responsible for both cooking delicious meals and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist with meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly handled.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the cooking process.
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas regularly.
Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen items promptly to ensure a clean working environment.
Help with inventory management by organizing food supplies and reporting shortages.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Willingness to assist with various kitchen tasks as needed.
Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items when necessary.
