Reporting to the Chef, this person will support day-to-day operations in the Kitchen by washing and properly storing all cooking utensils, china equipment, flatware and glassware as well as maintaining, cleaning and organizing all areas in the Kitchen.
Specific duties would include, but are not limited to:
Assist kitchen operating by cleaning food preparation and production areas, operating dish machine, keeping dish room clean and organized, maintaining adequate levels of clean tableware and kitchenware.
Opens and/or closes stewarding areas.
Washes all dishware in dishwashing machine or by hand according to the highest sanitation standards.
Supports with preparing food
Maintains inventories using FIFO practices.
Maintain the highest food quality for value by serving efficiently, professionally and courteously with minimal wastage and spoilage.
