We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Dishwasher to join our dynamic kitchen team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service, from meal preparation to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly handled.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all food is stored, prepared, and served safely.
Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Assist in cleaning kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment as needed.
Qualifications
Previous experience in food preparation or working in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
Willingness to learn new cooking techniques and improve culinary skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
