Daan Go Cake Lab is hiring a

Full-Time Prep Cook

to support our daily production, with a primary focus on

chiffon cake baking & prep work

. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys precise, repetitive baking and working in a structured kitchen environment. If this job ad is still up, it means we are still looking to hire.

Schedule

4-5 weekdays

+ 1 weekend day availability required

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and bake

chiffon cakes

according to house recipes Assist with baking

cookies

Prepare

nut pastes

and fillings Brew and prep

milk tea

components Measure and prep ingredients accurately Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep and baking areas Follow food safety and sanitation standards

What We're Looking For

Baking or kitchen prep experience (professional or strong home experience welcome) Comfortable working with

chiffon-style sponge cakes

or similar baked goods Ability to follow recipes precisely and maintain consistency Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Able to commit to a

full-time schedule

including weekends

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

Experience in a commercial kitchen is required Chocolate experience is an asset Able to work quickly and efficiently while performing repetitive tasks Able to learn quickly, follow directions, work clean, and be organized Heavy lifting will be required Positive attitude Punctual Self-motivated Team player At least one weekend day availability is required Able to lift at least 20kg
