Prep Cook

Job Description

Duties:

-Wednesday-Sunday Shifts 25-35 hrs per week - Must be able to open and close a kitchen

-Must work Weekends and Holidays
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation and assembly for catering events
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service
- Monitor food inventory and communicate any shortages or discrepancies

-assist with dishwashing and kitchen cleaning as required

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook is preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and knife skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Note: This position may involve working in a fast paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
