Our Regional Accounting team is currently recruiting a Pre-Owned Analyst. This role sits at our Regional Head Office at 401 Dixie VW in Mississauga.

This position provides analysis, decision support, solutions and actionable insights by identifying, extracting, analyzing, and presenting data regarding the organization\'s pre-owned sales performance. The Pre-Owned Analyst report to the Regional General Manager.

• Have a bachelor\'s degree in Business or related automotive retail industry experience
• Have 1-2 years of progressive performance/sales analytics experience. Automobile experience with the OEMs or dealer groups will be an added advantage
• Have 1 year minimum of Financial Analyst experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and adapt easily to new software environments

Responsibilities:

• Review and execute prices changes
• Merchandising - descriptions and taglines
• Extract and analyze information from OEM monthly preowned sales reports to develop proprietary business analytics.
• Conduct analysis on competitive market data provided by the OEM to gain new insights in pre-owned business operations and identify new business opportunities.
• Track dealership pre-owned performance levels on a monthly basis on OEM variable bonus and award programs, actual bonus attainment and lost opportunity.
• Review monthly internal operational reports to do trend analysis and help identifying areas of opportunity.
• Identify, standardize and automate integration of key performance metrics and adapt current reports and metrics to support evolving business needs and opportunities.
• Design, develop and implement innovative analytical solutions.
• Assist in preparing presentation material for quarterly, regional performance review meetings with operational stakeholders & Executives.
• Identify and incorporate analytical and modelling approaches for use in operational planning.
• Support the business with ad-hoc analysis requests and provide timely business insights.
• Support various other projects as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Business or automotive industry experience.
• 1-2 years of progressive performance/sales analytics experience. Automobile experience with the OEMs or dealer groups will be an added advantage.
• 1 year of Financial Analyst experience (added at your request)
• Possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees including executive management.
• Extensive computer proficiency with desktop software in a Windows environment including Access, Excel and PowerPoint.
• OneEighty/CDK experience preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; high level of accuracy and personal initiative.
