The Estimating Administrator will play a key role in supporting the estimation team through administrative coordination, document control, and light estimating duties. While not expected to lead the estimating process, this role will assist with preparing and formatting documentation, maintaining accurate records, and providing organizational support to ensure the team operates efficiently. An eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are essential.

Provide administrative support to the estimating team, including formatting proposals, maintaining databases, and managing tender documentation,
Assist with light estimating tasks such as basic quantity take-offs and preparing preliminary cost information
Organize and track tender submissions, project files, and related correspondence
Coordinate and collect information from third-party vendors and suppliers as directed by estimators
Review drawings and specifications to extract relevant details for team review
Support the team by ensuring deadlines are traced and submissions are accurate and timely
Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements
Valid Class 5 license and reliable transportation
Available to work Monday - Friday, occasional Saturday
Minimum 40 hours per week, must be flexible and willing to work overtime
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong organizational and administrative skills, with keen attention to detail
Attentive to detail, organized, and able to meet deadlines under pressure is a must
Proficient in both verbal and written English communication
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when required
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
Local or willing to relocate to Central Alberta
Assets
Previous administrative or coordinator experience in a construction-related environment
Ability to read and interpret basic construction drawings and specifications
Familiarity with construction terms and processes
An understanding of precast concrete
Basic knowledge of Autodesk software (Revit, AutoCAD)
