Job Description

As a practice leader, your role is to assist your unit's manager by providing subject matter expertise and support for related activities. You coordinate and mentor a group of seasoned professionals and assist with management activities. Your initiatives require extensive, in-depth knowledge of your line of work. You lead and serve as an integrator on strategic, highly innovative, cross-sector projects. You make recommendations on the development and execution of projects and initiatives with a very high degree of operational and conceptual complexity. You use your analytical skills and comprehensive, in-depth understanding of your line of business and the organization. Your strategic mindset, organizational savvy and sound decision-making skills are essential. Coordination is critical. You interact with a very large number of key partners working in a wide range of fields. You lead, influence and serve as a subject matter expert for teams, senior management and decision-making bodies. More specifically, you will be required to:

Serve as leading expert for your practice and its development. Produce and organize complex, strategic work and deliverables related to your practice area. Provide expert support and mentoring with respect to various analyses, strategy development, personalized approaches and case management. Help your unit's professionals develop their skills. Help plan and manage your unit's priorities and assign employees to projects and initiatives. Assign initiatives and requests to your team members and ensure that they are completed. Ensure practices, procedures, methodologies and tools are used properly and efficiently to achieve your unit's objectives.

What you bring to the table



Bachelor's degree in a related field A minimum of eight years of relevant experience Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered Experience with EDI and accessibility initiatives Knowledge of French is required Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients knowledge of neurodiversity concepts
