As the PR & Communications Specialist, you will support the organization by executing our external communications strategy across multiple brands. You excel at reaching out to media and securing coverage in local and national press. Partnering across the marketing team, you help extend the reach of product and brand marketing campaigns through earned media placements. You are a strong communicator and will be responsible for writing press releases and supporting various team members in all communications. What We You Be Doing?

• Drive earned media through active relationship management with press and partner organizations
• Support all campaigns with strong externally facing message development
• Support the development of thought leadership programs for executives including finding speaking engagements
• Support various teams on event planning (from local retail events, to large conferences and trade shows).
• Support media buying across channels to drive reach for all brands
• Partner with social media team to maximize impact of our influencer strategy across brands
• Develop and manage award submissions across the organization
• Support as needed on writing internal communications

As The Successful Candidate, You Have:

• Marketing, Communications or Business degree
• 3+ years of external communications experience across consumer, trade and business press.
• Exceptional track record of setting and achieving goals
• Strong verbal and written communicator
• Ability to craft stories and pitches that get attention in the media
• Bilingual (French & English) is an asset
