Position Summary
PR 201: Communications Tools and Techniques
Course Description:
An effective approach to Public Relations involves the activities of planning, implementing, and evaluating. The tools and techniques are how Public Relations is implemented. This course will outline the Public Relations tool kit and provide an understanding of which techniques are appropriate in specific situations.
Position Requirements
We are looking for a sessional lecturer with the following:

  • Master's degree in Journalism, Public Relations, or Communications preferred.
  • Accreditation with CPRS and/or IABC an asset.
  • Online teaching experience and a familiarity with UR Courses an asset.
This course will be delivered in an asynchronous, online format.
