Cummins is looking for a Field service Power generation to join our Distribution business in Edmonton, AB.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways

Engage customers in a courteous and professional manner. Anticipate and ensures prompt and efficient attention to customer needs. Apply the use of specialized tools and follows documented procedures and policies to diagnose and complete less complex repairs, including identifying and preparing required parts and tools. Perform preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on power generation products in the field Escalate unresolved issues to more experienced Field Service Technicians and/or Supervisor. Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens. Complete training in line with skill and business requirements. Maintain service vehicle and tools for cleanliness and proper operation. Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to site management and to their supervisor

RESPONSIBILITIES

In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

Heavy duty mechanics journeyman certification is preferred. Valid driver's license Clean driver's abstract Ability to obtain an enhanced security clearance

Experience:

Basic level field service work experience (Customer facing role). Previous intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with of PG products. PG and High / Low Voltage experience. Customer service experience.

About the role:

Position is based in Edmonton and servicing the Edmonton metropolitan region. Working hours: Monday-Friday 730am to 4pm Unionized environment Hourly salary: 48.32$ as per current CBA plus hourly field service premium. Cummins offers benefits DAY 1-No waiting period !
