Your Opportunity:Looking for a self-motivated, detail oriented individual to join the AHS Team at the Wetaskiwin HCC facility. This position requires you to have a minimum of a 4th Class Power Engineer certification in good standing as you will be providing shift coverage for other operators while on vacation or days off as the need arises.Description:As a Power Engineer 4th Class, you will be responsible for assisting with monitoring, repairs and maintenance of plant operations in accordance with AHS and Alberta Boiler Safety Association (ABSA) standards and practices. You will schedule and check building/power plant equipment systems on a pre-established schedule. In addition, you will operate and maintain the plant in a safe and efficient manner according to ABSA regulations.

Required Qualifications:Completion of 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate. Additional Required Qualifications:Class 5 or higher Drivers License, Mechanical Aptitude, Positive Attitude, Attention to Detail, Pride in your Work. Preferred Qualifications:HVAC specific training and/or experience with. Ability to read and interpret building drawings and schematics (e.g., architectural, mechanical, electrical, controls, structural, civil, etc.).
