Main Accountabilities:
Create accurate plans for the scheduling and manpower forecasting for weekly, monthly, annual and long-term maintenance schedules.
Reviews and prioritizes maintenance work requests with other team members.
Principle contact and liaison between the maintenance department and operations groups and ensuring maintenance service in a timely manner to ensure high equipment availability and performance.
Review work request for accuracy and clarity: clear scope of work, realistic completion date, proper lead time, correct equipment identification, proper charge number (if applicable), proper authorization, and discuss details with originator of the work order.
Actively participate in scheduling meeting with operation partners to finalize priority of work orders, optimum downtime windows, and necessary time leads.
Continuously improve the job estimate, planning and scheduling by receiving feedback from maintenance supervisors, maintenance leads, production supervisors, engineers and production planners.
Compile, update and distribute backlog reports and other mandated control reports.
Create and continually update maintenance programs and schedules and equipment parts lists.
Coordinate and schedule maintenance contractors.
Manage computerized maintenance management system including system data quality and seek out improvements to the system.
Develop, maintain, monitor and update the maintenance manual for the maintenance department, complete with business process flows, practices, policies & procedures and KPIs.
Provide technical/operational input into maintenance procedures and systems to ensure operational readiness.
Identify recurring maintenance issues
Thoroughly understands how to fully utilize the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). SME for the plant in SAP PM
Develops PM programs, maintains the PM plans so they stay relevant
Works closely with parts and purchasing team members to ensure timely delivery of key parts, can back up team members as needed
Main Qualifications:
At least 5 years experience in a planning role
10+ years of maintenance experience
Experience using SAP maintenance system
* Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
