Key Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces and parts for powder coating, including cleaning, masking, and inspection.
Load and fill paint hoppers, operate paint guns, and move jobs into booths and ovens using a forklift.
Follow schedules and curing times to ensure efficient, high-quality production.
Perform
quality control and assurance tests
, including Cure Tests, Hatch Tests, and Mil Reading Tests.
Keep workspaces clean, organized, and safe.
Accurately complete and submit paperwork on time.
Communicate with Team Leads and Supervisors about quality concerns, incidents, or production issues.
Understand paint locations, read and follow paint codes, and track curing times.
Equipment Used
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Safety glasses, ear protection, steel-toe work boots, paint suit, respirator or hood, gloves, and dust mask.
Tools & Machines: Paint guns, hoppers, ovens, forklifts, compressed air tools.
Testing Equipment: Mil gauge, cure test kits, and other QC tools.

Requirements
Minimum 1 year of powder coating experience preferred.
Strong understanding of industrial painting processes and quality control standards.
Ability to safely operate forklifts and follow proper material handling procedures.
Must be able to
reliably commute to Saskatoon, SK
or plan to relocate before starting work.
