Pouch: Assistant
Job Description
Assist the Operator with the preparation of all orders for the shift to minimize the amount of non?productive time and production scrap. Assist the Operator with the running of the pouch machines with emphasis placed on the manual aspects associated with the operation of the machines. Assist with simple, routine maintenance of the machines. Ensure that material including pallets and other accessories, are available for each machine and lined up in an orderly fashion. Participate in ongoing training as outlined in the department training plan. Operate lift trucks safely and efficiently to move materials as needed. * Ensure proper housekeeping and cleanliness within the department.
