Position Title: Potato Grader BreakerPosition Type: Temporary - Full-Time \xe2\x80\x8bPosition Location: Florenceville PotatoRequisition ID: 30074McCain Foods (Canada) is currently looking for a Potato Grader Breaker.This is a two month temporary position.If you like fast-paced work, enjoy trouble shooting and working with others apply today!QUALIFICATIONS:

• Grade 12 or GED would be considered an asset
• Previous experience in all aspects of Potato Grader would be considered an asset.
• Team player with excellent attendance and safety record.
• Strong interpersonal Skills and communication skills.
• Must be able to work shifts on a rotating basis
• Physically capable of performing all job duties (e.g., lifting app. 25 lbs as required) \xe2\x80\x9cSamples Baskets\xe2\x80\x9d
• Responsible for entering Data in systems.
• Ability to accept and embrace change in the day to day operations in a professional manner.
• Have completed or be willing to complete a forklift training course.
• Able to work with cleaning chemicals
• Successful completion of 90 day training period.

DUTIES:

• Unloading and sampling trucks into bins.
• Making sure the correct color and gravity potatoes are going into the right bin.
• Removing approximately 25 lb. samples from the automatic sampler off each truck for raw grading purposes. One in the front of the load and a random sample off the last half of load.
• Determine the total weight of two samples collected from potato trucks using a weigh scale, then washing samples insuring nothing is lost (i.e. potatoes, rocks, any foreign material) and take washed sample to potato graders with the total weight.
• Ensuring that the potato house unloading equipment, walls and doors are operational and cleaned
• Communicate closely with Shift Manager any changes in raw materials or other pertinent information
• Must comply with HACCP rules and regulations
• Attend team meetings as required
• Must follow \xe2\x80\x9cGood Manufacturing Practices\xe2\x80\x9d (GMP\'s)
• Must wear proper PPE\'s at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.
