Key Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize production areas, equipment, tools, and work surfaces to maintain compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. Handle and dispose of waste materials safely, following facility protocols. Restock cleaning supplies and notify supervisors of shortages or equipment malfunctions. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for sanitation and cleaning processes. Support the production team by maintaining a safe, organized, and hygienic work environment. Assist with deep cleaning tasks, including walls, floors, ventilation, and specialized cannabis processing equipment. Maintain accurate cleaning logs and documentation.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict cleaning protocols. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with strong work ethic. Comfortable working in environments that may contain cannabis plant matter, dust, and cleaning chemicals. Ability to follow instructions and adhere to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines. Previous cleaning, janitorial, or sanitation experience (in food production, pharmaceuticals, or cannabis facilities) is an asset but not required.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25-40 kg. Comfortable working in humid, cold, and high-light environments. Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, coveralls, and safety glasses when required.
