Post-Care Loan Administrator



Job Overview


The Post-Care Loan Administrator is a full-time, three-year term position responsible for supporting Metis entrepreneurs through all stages of the lending process, with a primary focus on post-loan care, monitoring, and follow-up. By combining financial knowledge with cultural awareness, you will build trusted relationships, help clients succeed, and contribute to our mission of empowering Metis-owned businesses.

Responsibilities



Maintain accurate loan files and track payments, renewals, and maturities to ensure timely follow-up. Monitor client's business performance and identify early signs of financial stress. Prepare monthly portfolio reports on aging, arrears, and risk indicators. Ensure all documentation, amendments, and renewals meet CCDF policies and agreements. Conduct periodic client reviews and file audits for accuracy and compliance. Conduct regular check-ins and business visits to assess progress and repayment ability. Provide guidance, referrals, and financial literacy education to strengthen Metis entrepreneurs' management capacity. Build long-term relationships that encourage trust, repayment success, and repeat engagement. Prepare reports for senior management and funders on portfolio quality and client outcomes. Support audits and coordinate with Finance to ensure accurate loan transaction records. Uphold privacy, financial, and legal compliance at all times. Collaborate with Business Development Specialists and management for seamless client communication. Contribute to process improvements, integrated data collection, and client service excellence. Support CCDF's strategic and operational goals. Stay current on financial services, credit risk management, and Metis economic development. Maintain thorough knowledge of CCDF's lending policies, agreements, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications



Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is an asset. Experience in loan administration, lending, or business development; experience in Indigenous or Metis-focused organizations is an asset. Strong financial analysis, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Commitment to Metis economic development and cultural awareness. Ability to travel for client meetings and follow-ups.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
