We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented person to join our team at Oak Bay Pharmasave. As a Cashier and Post Office Clerk, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, accurately processing transactions, and assisting customers with their varied needs. Your role will ensure that our customers have a smooth and efficient experience while receiving their prescriptions and over-the-counter products. This position requires availability for a full shift, 3 days per week during daytime hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Greet customers warmly and provide prompt, friendly, and professional assistance.
Transaction Processing:
Accurately process customer purchases, including prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, and other products.
Payment Handling:
Operate cash registers, handle cash, credit, and debit transactions, and provide correct change to customers.
Inventory Support:
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-end merchandise area, including stocking shelves and organizing products.
Cash Register Maintenance:
Ensure registers are stocked with necessary supplies, report any technical issues with equipment, and maintain an organized workspace.
Mail Processing:
Sort and organize incoming and outgoing mail, including packages, letters, and special deliveries. Ensure proper handling of fragile or time-sensitive items.
Transaction Handling:
Sell stamps, shipping materials, and other postal products. Process customer transactions including postage, mailing, and package services.
Package Handling:
Weigh packages, calculate postage, and assist customers in choosing appropriate shipping options based on size, weight, and urgency.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 - 30 per week
