Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas. Utilize hand tools and power tools as needed for cleaning and maintenance tasks. Conduct facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs and upkeep of equipment. Ensure compliance with safety standards on site as well as when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from facility occupants or supervisors on site Manage time effectively to complete all cleaning duties within designated timeframes and deadlines Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues promptly.

Qualifications

Be billingual (either in English, French, Spanish) is a big asset Ability to drive or to have access to a car is an asset To be available from 7h00 - 15h00 on weekdays Previous custodial experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and facility users. Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Experience in commercial cleaning is a plus, along with familiarity with cleaning supplies and equipment. Physical ability to stand for extended periods while completing cleaning tasks. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
