Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time under pressure , and effectively while performing cleaning tasks.

Duties

Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas. Empty garbage bins and dispose of waste properly Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE Conduct commercial and Residential cleaning of offices, bedrooms, restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas. Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or issues to management. Manage heavy lifting when moving furniture or equipment during the cleaning process. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or requests from building occupants. Maintain an organized supply area and ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked appropriately. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding daily tasks and responsibilities

Qualifications:

Ability to perform physical tasks and lift/move up to 50 lbs Safety-conscious and dependable WHMIS and/or CSTS certification (an asset) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred)

Experience

Previous custodial experience is preferred but not required Familiarity with residential & commercial cleaning practices and equipment is a plus. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with clients and team members.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
