About the Team:





Our Portfolio Administration Team puts the client at the forefront of everything we do. We're dedicated to continually seeking creative solutions to address the exacting needs of high-net worth clients and wealth advisors. We pride ourselves on accuracy, polished interpersonal skills, and timely follow-through.

Purpose of the Role:





Are you passionate about finance and want to be a Portfolio Administrator? As the Portfolio Administrator you will provide accurate and timely back-office support to the firm regarding all investment products involved in end to end trade processing. You will create effective and efficient solutions independently as well as work with Planning and Project teams to meet objectives.



This position is located in Vancouver and is a 12-month contract position.

Core Responsibilities:




Daily monitoring of custom programs for new Portfolio Management recommendations. Reviewing Portfolio Manager recommendations and inputting trades into trade ticket systems. Ensuring that trading is accurate and timely. Following up to confirm trade settlements. Identifying issues and assisting in determining corrective action. Scanning and updating Portfolio Management recommendation documents for trading group. Assisting the firm in meeting its compliance requirements. You will work with the team on projects and other duties as assigned from time-to-time based on changing business environment and priorities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:




Post-secondary education or related experience. Investment education and an interest in the financial services administration field. Two years back-office experience. You have a high accuracy rate when entering data into the system and close attention to detail. You anticipate problems and solve them actively. You have strong analytical and mathematical ability. You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal). Ability to take direction and accept responsibility. You have strong time management skills, particularly the ability to prioritize a multitude of tasks.
