Pool Construction Supervisor

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Project manager to work closely with our pool construction and splashpad installation team and clients.

Salary Is based on experience, Work Ethic, and dedication to the goals and vision of Leisure Valley. Bonus, Staff events, and other incentives available.

We are currently looking for a full-time Pool Construction Supervisor / Manager with the capacity to grow within our family-owned company. We are interested in candidates who are relational, energetic, and interested in being a part of a collaborative and supportive work environment. The ideal candidate must have supervisor or project management experience and knowledge of Pool construction, Maintenance, and operations and be able to supervise a crew of 3 or 4 laborer's & Management through completion of projects.

I deal candidate will be responsible for assistance with the completion of pool projects, including new builds and remodels, in and around the Annapolis Valley. Role consists of general labor on work sites to ensure timely project completion, communicating with clients and staff. Communication skills, some knowledge of construction processes, and willingness to learn are key factors.

Some Key tasks that will apply to any positions hired.

? Manual labor (use of shovels, lifting materials, job site cleanup, demolition, use of power tools, loading/unloading materials, operation of skid steer, digging trenches, etc.)

? Assist with plumbing of pool and equipment

? Picking up materials, tools, and supplies to deliver to job sites

? Organization and management of shop area, work vehicles and trailers

? Communicate professionally with clients and subcontractors on job sites

? Ensuring jobsite cleanliness and safety

? Communicate and summarize job progress with supervisor

? Attend regular team meetings Qualifications & Skills:

? Must be punctual in reporting to work

? Post secondary education, Highschool diploma minimum

? Must have driver's license

? Must have reliable transportation ( Option for company truck for the ideal candidate to use for travel)

? Able to drive a truck and knowing how to drive with a trailer is a must

? Must be open to work daytime hours Monday to Friday and some weekends (Saturdays only) and late hours if required

? Ability to work 40-55 hours per week

? Supervisor Roll Must have some knowledge of construction practices including but not limited to; ( Drainage, Gravel Compaction and grading, Electrical, Carpentry, Plumbing all consider assets) Salary will reflect experience

? General Pool Construction Laborer Any pool-related experience is a plus for, Salary will reflect experience

? Must have physical strength (ability to lift 25-75lbs), endurance and work well with your hands

? Being good in collaboration and following instructions and safety rules

? Must be a team player

? Must be able to work independently on assigned tasks but have the ability to ask for help and guidance when needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.50-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
