Safran Landing Systems is a subsidiary of Safran Landing Systems, a global leader in landing and braking systems for aircraft. The Mirabel plant is dedicated to the manufacturing of major components of landing gear for Airbus A320, A330, and A350 models, as well as the Boeing 787. It features state-of-the-art equipment for machining, polishing, and special processes, including heat treatment, shot peening, and surface treatments.



You will perform, using air-powered hand tools or semi-automatic equipment, the polishing of attachment points of the main landing gear components, according to specifications. These operations require a high level of precision to create the exact dimensions to subsequently accommodate other mechanical parts.





You will also be required to:

prepare the part and, if necessary, perform the assembly on the equipment inspect the parts using measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications complete the appropriate quality assurance documentation contribute to the continuous improvement of operations and achieving objectives in terms of safety, quality, costs, and on-time deliveries

Requirements:



High school diploma required (equivalency certificate not accepted) Experience in manual work with pneumatic tools in a manufacturing environment Experience in manual polishing is an asset Ability to read mechanical drawings and use measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers are also assets. Good manual dexterity Basic computer skills Ability to work with attention to detail and precision Rigor Organizational skills / Priority management Autonomy

Evening shift: Monday to Thursday from 2:20 PM to 12:20 AM



Note: Depending on the collective agreement rules, the position may change shifts (evening, night, or weekend)
