Plan Group is hiring a Plumbing Apprentice to join our team in Ottawa, ON.


This full-time role provides hands-on experience supporting the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in commercial, residential, and high-rise projects. Working with experienced journeypersons, you will develop your skills, gain practical training, and contribute to delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality plumbing solutions.

As a

Plumbing Apprentice

, you will:

Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, including water supply and waste, in residential, commercial, and high-rise environments. Help install and service plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters. Support the diagnosis and repair of plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, and system malfunctions under the supervision of a licensed journeyperson. Follow the Ontario Building Code, local regulations, and Plan Group's safety standards. Accurately record work performed, materials used, and hours worked using digital tools such as SharePoint. Complete work orders and timesheets in an organized and timely manner. Assist with client communication and help ensure a positive customer experience. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe, clean, and operational condition. Continue building knowledge of new technologies, materials, and industry practices to support your growth.

Qualifications:



Registered, or eligible to register, as a Plumbing Apprentice with the Ontario College of Trades. Interest in building a career in plumbing and a willingness to learn from experienced professionals. Valid G driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable using digital tools such as SharePoint for documentation. * Commitment to safety, professionalism, and quality workmanship.
