Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Plumber to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start a rewarding career in plumbing. As an Apprentice Plumber, you will work under the supervision of experienced plumbers, gaining hands-on experience and technical skills essential for success in the field.

Duties

• Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
• Learn to read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand plumbing layouts.
• Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete plumbing tasks.
• Support experienced plumbers in assembling and welding various plumbing components.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations while on job sites to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge with a strong willingness to learn about plumbing systems.
• Familiarity with basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
• Experience with power tools is necessary; training will be provided for specific tools used in plumbing work.
• Ability to read blueprints or willingness to learn blueprint reading skills.
• Previous experience in carpentry or construction is a plus but not required.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to follow instructions from supervisors.
• Must be able to lift heavy materials and perform physical tasks associated with plumbing work.

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $18.61-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
