We are seeking a motivated and dependable Plumbers Helper to join our team. This entry-level position offers valuable hands-on experience in plumbing and HVAC projects, supporting skilled plumbers in various tasks on commercial and residential sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and an interest in building trades. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills in plumbing, HVAC, and related fields.

Responsibilities

Assist licensed plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems. Handle hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment safely and efficiently. Measure and cut pipes using appropriate tools; assist with pipe fitting and assembly. Perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimates. Assist with remodeling, maintenance, HVAC-related tasks, and general maintenance person duties on-site. Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.

Requirements

Prior experience or familiarity with construction sites, plumbing, or related trades preferred but not required. Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, welding, and basic mechanical concepts is a plus. Ability to read technical drawings and perform basic math calculations accurately. Strong mechanical aptitude with an interest in learning plumbing systems and construction techniques. Physical ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and perform manual labor outdoors or in confined spaces. Valid driver's license is preferred for site travel; reliable transportation is necessary. Prior maintenance person experience or skills in carpentry, remodeling, or maintenance are advantageous but not mandatory. Willingness to work in various weather conditions on active construction sites; safety-conscious attitude is essential. Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
