We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of food items according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste.
Support chefs and cooks in various tasks such as chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes.
Ensure that all food handling procedures comply with health and safety regulations.
Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
Participate in maintaining a positive team environment through effective communication and collaboration.
Assist with serving food during meal times as required.
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods is advantageous.
Strong cleaning skills to maintain a hygienic work environment.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on hospitality and customer service.
Knowledge of food handling safety practices is a plus.
