We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics, perform installations, and conduct repairs. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to handle heavy lifting as part of daily tasks. The Plumber will work on various projects, including residential and commercial plumbing systems, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary repairs. Perform troubleshooting to diagnose problems with plumbing systems, including HVAC components. Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations during all plumbing work. Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters, to complete projects efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to health & safety protocols.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and power tools effectively. Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus. Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material requirements. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for installations and repairs. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed. Valid driver's license for commercial driving may be required for transportation between job sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $31.20-$52.51 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 - 42.5 per week
