Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in plumbing systems, with the ability to read and interpret schematics, maintain equipment, and perform installations. This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using hand tools, as well as the capability to handle heavy lifting. As a Journeyperson Plumber, you will be responsible for ensuring that plumbing systems are installed and maintained to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
• Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
• Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters to complete projects efficiently.
• Adhere to safety regulations and building codes during all work activities.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber or similar role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools effectively.
• Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment safely.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.

Pay: $37.00-$43.00 per hour
