We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Plumber or 3rd/4th Year Apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plumbing, HVAC systems, and general maintenance and trouble shooting. You'll enjoy the friendly small town lifestyle in the heart of the Peace Country. Responsibilities

Install, repair and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings Collaborate with HVAC technicians to ensure proper integration of plumbing and heating systems. Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent issues and ensure optimal performance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively. Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and specifications. Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC systems as needed Assist in construction projects by providing plumbing expertise during installation phases. Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project completion Lift heavy materials as needed for installations or repairs. Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on time. Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean work enviroment Participating in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency service

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with a focus on plumbing systems. Familiarity with HVAC principles and maintenance practices. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing tasks. Experience in construction environments with an understanding of building codes. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Basic math skills for calculations related to plumbing installations. Carpentry skills are a plus for integrated projects requiring multiple trades. Capability for heavy lifting as required by job duties. Must have a clean driving record Must be able to pass a criminal record check

Pay: $34.00-$44.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
