Role Description
We are hiring a
Journeyman and Apprentice Plumbers
to work on multiple projects inside our production facility. You will be responsible for the installation of Drain, Waste, Venting, Potable Water, Natural Gas, Hydronic systems & Fixture Installation in new construction builds. This is for our Monday to Thursday shift.
Duties:
Read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout and installation of Drain, Waste, Venting, Potable Water, Natural Gas, Hydronic systems & Fixture Installation.
Cutting, soldering, & press copper pipe and fittings
Cutting & threading gas pipe and fittings
Cutting & crimping pex tubing and fitting
Cutting & the installation of Cast Iron Soil Pipe
Measuring locations & drilling holes through floors, walls, ceiling & roofs for pipe penetrations
Air testing Potable Water, Hydronic, DWV and Gas systems
Repairing warranty work and or plant maintenance
Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient installation
Required Experience:
Journeyman qualification in plumbing or registered Apprentice
2- 5 years experience in plumbing
Knowledge of building plumbing design, installations, and codes
Effective communication skills, working well with others
An aptitude for math
Mechanical ability
Ability to work in high places
Keeping up to date with changing technology
Ability to perform safe, creative, and precision work
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

This role is plant based at our 135,000 square feet manufacturing facility 20 minutes North of Calgary in
Crossfield, Alberta
, strategically located near a High Load Corridor which allows us to transport loads up to 9 meters high to many parts of Alberta, Saskatchewan, BC, and the United States. Our employees live in Calgary, Airdrie and surrounding communities.
