Journeyman and Apprentice Electrician (2nd Year or Higher)

Bow River Electric Ltd. is a small, family-owned electrical contractor proudly serving Calgary and surrounding areas since 1984. We're looking for motivated

Journeyman

and

Apprentice Electricians (2nd year or higher)

who want to grow their skills in a supportive, hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in

commercial, light industrial, and residential

projects Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Follow the

Canadian Electrical Code (CEC)

and company safety standards Bend conduit, pull wire, cut TECK cable, terminate devices, and assist with service calls Work collaboratively with journeymen and project leads to complete jobs efficiently and safely

Qualifications

Registered

Electrical Apprentice (2nd year or higher)

or certified

Journeyman Electrician

Valid

driver's license

and reliable transportation Basic

PPE

(steel-toe boots, hard hat, safety glasses) and personal hand tools Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety Willingness to work occasional overtime or weekends

What We Offer

Journeyman rate:

$39.00-$42.00 per hour (depending on experience and foreman responsibility)

Apprentice scale:

50-80% of journeyman rate

Vacation & holiday pay:

10% on all regular hours

All major power tools provided on site

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $39.00-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
