We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in plumbing, HVAC, and maintenance. This role involves working on various plumbing systems, performing installations, repairs, and ensuring all work complies with local codes and regulations. The Plumber will be responsible for utilizing hand tools, power tools, and blueprints to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
Utilize hand tools and power tools for various plumbing tasks including assembly and installation of fixtures.
Conduct routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems to identify issues before they become major problems.
Perform welding tasks as necessary for pipe fittings and other plumbing components.
Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper installation of plumbing systems during new builds or renovations.
Adhere to safety protocols while performing heavy lifting and working in potentially hazardous environments.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role within the construction or maintenance industry minimum 5-7 years
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
Familiarity with HVAC systems is preferred but not mandatory.
Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics related to plumbing installations.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations involved in plumbing tasks.
Experience with carpentry is a plus for completing related tasks during installations or repairs.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by job duties.
