Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and be able to work independently or as part of a team. This role requires expertise in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. The Journeyperson Plumber will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing work is completed to code and meets the highest standards of quality.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various plumbing tasks. Assemble and weld piping systems as needed for installations or repairs. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform necessary maintenance. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, to ensure seamless project execution. Apply basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimates. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Skills

Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding schematics related to plumbing systems. Strong ability to build, assemble, and maintain various plumbing components. Experience with power tools and hand tools commonly used in plumbing work. Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Welding skills are a plus for specific plumbing tasks. Excellent problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
