Company descriptionLocally owned and operated plumbing and heating company serving Halifax and surrounding areas, with 25 years experience.Job descriptionWorx Mechanical Ltd is looking for candidates for several rolls with the company including: a red seal journeyman/woman plumber and also looking to hire Gas technician(s) to join our team. experienced apprentices would be considered.With and ownership team proudly servicing metro Halifax and surrounding area's for over 25 years. Performing Residential and commercial sales, service and installation.The ideal candidate will be motivated, hardworking, and independent and able to work as part of a team. Should have excellent customer service and communication skills as we pride ourselves with the relationships we build with our customers .Duties are not limited to the following:

• Installing, repairing and maintaining domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing systems
• Marking positions for pipe connections and fixtures in walls and floors
• Cutting openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings
• Measuring, cutting, bending and installing pipes using hand and power tools
• Welding/Soldering pipes
• Testing pipes for leaks
• Reading and interpreting blueprints
• Over seeing apprentices
• Completing safety documentation as required

Skills and qualifications:

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Good communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to work together as part of a team alongside other technicians
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
