About the Opportunity The SSI PLM Platform Specialist is responsible for the setup and deployment of the complete, integrated SSI shipbuilding digital platform spanning all of SSIs products (ShipConstructor, ShipbuildingPLM and ShipExplorer), with a strong focus on configuration and setup of ShipbuildingPLM.
As part of the initial deployment effort, you will also be involved in the development of data loading scripts and some ShipbuildingPLM low code configuration/programming work focused on adjustments of the baseline PLM configuration. The role will involve working as part of a wider SSI Platform implementation team and will include client-facing engagements via remote meetings with minimum travel requirements. As well as playing a key role in the initial deployment of the SSI Platform, the role will also involve client post-deployment support activities, focused on software/IT troubleshooting, performance optimization and data integrity as well as administrative training.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deployment, configuration, and hook-up testing of the complete SSI PlatformShipbuildingPLM low code configuration work, focused on adjustments and troubleshooting base configuration deployed for the client.
• Engagement in client-facing meetings to provide information on deployment and support activities.
• Development and maintenance of client-facing training documentation for the SSI Platform.
• Working with SSI ES coordination to provide information for the prioritization of tasks and assignments.
• Internal support within SSI for SSI Platform deployments at SSI CA and SSI USA.
• Development and maintenance of technical documentation registering deployment and software configuration for each client/project.
• Client-facing technical/troubleshooting support for the SSI Platform, focused on IT corporate support.
• Configuration of setup files and scripts to support the deployment effort.

What We Look For:

• Experience in a PLM/MRP/ERP enterprise system deployment and configuration
• Experience in deployment and configuration of the Microsoft platform (Windows, Windows Server/IIS, SQL Server) on-premise and also in an Azure/Cloud environment)
• Scripting, low-code programming and configuration experience in support of a PLM/MRP/ERP implementation effort
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• A passion for teamwork, learning new technology and continuous improvement
• Previous proven experience in the following would be a strong differentiator:
  • Aras Innovator PLM technology foundation
  • Work experience in shipbuilding, industrial plant or heavy manufacturing industries.
  • Autodesk Products (e.g. AutoCAD, Navisworks)
