Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of various instruments and control systems. Your expertise in electrical systems, CNC machines, logic controllers, and industrial maintenance will be crucial in ensuring the proper functioning of our equipment.

Duties:
- Install, calibrate, and maintain a wide range of instruments and control systems
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues in instruments and control systems
- Use AutoCAD or other software to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to diagnose and resolve complex problems
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance of instruments
- Document all maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and adjustments
- Keep inventory of spare parts and equipment needed for repairs

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, CNC machines, logic controllers, and industrial maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
- Proficiency in using AutoCAD or similar software is a plus
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to detect issues in instruments and control systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting heavy equipment or working in confined spaces

-Licensed Industrial Electrician (442A) or Construction Maintenance Electrician (309A) is a strong asset.

- You possess an Instrumentation and Control Technician (447A) Red seal accreditation or a College Technician or Technology Diploma in Instrumentation.
