Hansik is seeking passionate individuals for the position of

part-time Plating associate (kitchen help).

We are seeking passionate individuals for the position of part-time cook. Our shared production kitchen is located near Yorkdale, a ready-to-eat meal business partner with CookUnity creating traditional and modern Korean and Japanese dishes. You will be part of a small team preparing thousands of meals a week for delivery. If you desire to have an impact on a fast growing business we'd love to hear from you.

Duties

Plating the meals followed by specific instructions Weigh and portion food into individual containers Maintain clean work space and equipment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards Basic food prep (washing, peeling vegetables)

Requirements

Previous experience in a fast pace restaurant or food service environment preferred Experience in a production or commercial kitchen is a strong asset Basic knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques Ability to remain organized at all times in a fast paced environment Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication skills Ability to work in a condition of 40F Ability to multitask and problem solve Ability to stand and walk for 6+hours at a time and lift 50lbs Willingness to learn new things and adapt Be punctual

Working Schedules

(PLEASE READ FOLLOWING SCHEDULES BELOW BEFORE YOU APPLY)

Days : Saturdays, Sundays Hours : 2pm-9pm, 3pm-10pm Paid break : 30 minutes per 6 hours shift

Benefit

Performance Bonus (Avg $3.8/hr) after probation
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 18 per week
