Mos Mos Coffee is a recognizable, expanding brand in downtown Toronto. We are currently looking for a Kitchen Help/Baker to join our team with the opportunity for growth as a Baker.

Responsibilities:

Preparing for store opening with baked goods and food. Safely and appropriately use baking and measuring tools/equipment/appliances to prepare ingredients according to recipes, quality and presentation standards. Follow and ensure compliance with food safety handling policies and procedures, including personal hygiene procedures. Be able to lift and carry objects weighing 25 pounds without assistance. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Be able to stand for an extended period of time. Receive deliveries, rotate and stock ingredients and inventory Wash and disinfect kitchen area; set-up and break-down workstation; and follow and ensure compliance with sanitation and cleaning procedures. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support team to reach common goals.

Requirements:

Previous experience working in a coffee shop/cafe environment or as baker in a related environment Must be eligible to work in Canada. Able to lift up to 25kg equipment and ingredients.

Working hours (not limited to / can be discussed):

Weekdays 6:00am to 2:00pm

Weekends 8:00am to 2:00pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
