Opportunity
Sault Ste. Marie is inviting applications for two full time permanent Plastic Surgeons. The successful candidate will have access to the OR and Ambulatory Care Clinic at Sault Area Hospital. Call Coverage is shared and will expand based on compliment recruited. Well established private practice locations available throughout our community. Recruitment will assist in finding a location that matches your needs.
Our surgical program performs 5200 surgeries per year, with services including Cardiac Cath, General, Orthopedic, OB/Gyn, ENT, Plastics, Urology, Ophthalmology and Dental.
Affiliation with NOSM University provides the opportunity to teach residents and medical students. Faculty appointments and research is supported by the Sault Ste. Marie Academic Medical Association.
License & Eligibility
The candidate must be a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) or be eligible or licensed to practice medicine independently in Ontario. Please ensure you have had your credentials assessed and have a letter of exam eligibility from the RCPSC prior to application.
Assistance may be provided for those requiring supervision as well as work permit or permanent residency.

Remuneration
Remuneration is attractive and competitive. Call stipends are available with shared call. Northern Specialist Alternate Payment Plan (NSAPP) is enticing for those interested in practicing in Northern Ontario.
