Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Plant Operations Manager to oversee capacity planning, production scheduling, equipment maintenance and facility management.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and leading a team of employees to achieve operational excellence. This role requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives within the plant.

Duties



Oversee daily operations of the plant, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining quality standards. Develop and implement production schedules and workflows to optimize efficiency. Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime. Lead, mentor, and develop plant staff. Listen and consider feedback fostering a synergistic workforce. Exercise sound and timley decision making considering alternative perspectives. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all employees. Track and analyze Key Performance Indicators to identify areas for improvement and production bottlenecks. Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives. Lead physical inventory process and coordinate with procurement for necessary materials. Monitor production capacity daily through the Click-up schedule.

Skills



Experience in a manufacturing in a production manager capacity. Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills. Proficient in production planning and scheduling techniques. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Ability to analyze data effectively and make informed decisions based on findings. Experience using CNC machines. Ability to read and interpret engineer drawings. Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office, AutoCAD/ SolidWorks. Adobe Illustrator. Familiarity with the occupational health and safety act and regulations. Strong problem-solving skills with an action orientated approach. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $76,125.43-$80,000.00 per year
