The Position:



We're looking for a Plant Manager to join our growing team. This role is responsible for overseeing production operations and supervision of the production team onsite and offsite at client locations. This role will provide leadership and direction for all production related activities working closely with the Manager, Planning Operations and estimating, project management. This role will also ensure safety, quality controls, and the overall efficiency and effectiveness of production. This role ensures we meet all product manufacturing requirements and results.

What You Will Do:



Provides supervision, direction, coaching, development/training, and support to production team members Have input and implement production schedules Plan and meet all production goals Manage workforce planning with production schedules, drive responsible labour costs, reduce waste Manage material and equipment resources to meet production requirements Set and monitor product quality standards, ongoing reporting and improvements Ensure all safety requirements are met and creates a culture of safety Determine and implement improvements to the production process; drive operational excellence through regular process reviews and real-time feedback Prepare and communicate production reports Ensure effective collaboration and coordination between appropriate teams including quality, engineering, logistics, project management, estimating, administration Collaborate on the planning and direct the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment Leads in a manner that ensures strong team engagement and performance Manages within budget, provides input to budgets, bid requests, and contracts, as required Other projects or tasks as required

What You Bring:



Proven experience in an industrial production/manufacturing environment with plastics, metal welding and fabrication Demonstrates thorough knowledge of working in a project oriented, custom design manufacturing environment Strong leadership and supervisory skills with ability to create a high performing teams Ability to be strategic yet be hands on when necessary to ensure overall results Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Excellent customer service skills, operations from client centered perspective to drive value to clients, deliver on time, budget, specifications Ability to train and develop others, coach and performance manage Demonstrates systems thinking with ability to implement production wide processes Demonstrates good business acumen, managing financial results and internal controls Proactive, highly organized and solution oriented Ability to influence, lead change effectively and embrace continuous improvement/innovation Good computer skills: MS Office suite, CRM, ERP systems, ability to learn new software/technology/applications quickly and effectively

Salary range:

starting at $75,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
