Job Overview


We are seeking an experienced and strategic Plant Manager to oversee all aspects of our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining high-quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This leadership role requires a strong background in manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and systems integration, with a focus on lean manufacturing and quality control. The Plant Manager will lead a team of supervisors and staff to meet production goals while adhering to safety and environmental regulations.

Duties



Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize manufacturing processes, utilizing ERP systems such as SAP and MRP software. Oversee daily plant operations, including production scheduling, quality control, and maintenance activities. Lead process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency, reducing waste, and enhancing product quality through lean manufacturing principles. Manage supply chain logistics to ensure timely procurement of materials and delivery of finished goods. Coordinate with engineering teams on assembly line improvements and mechanical system upgrades. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, safety, and quality standards. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices in manufacturing and process optimization. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental policies across the plant. Lead training programs for staff development in areas such as ERP systems, quality control, and process improvements.

Requirements



Proven experience in manufacturing management or plant operations within a similar industry. Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP and other MRP software tools. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex machinery and systems involved in production processes. Demonstrated expertise in process improvement methodologies including lean manufacturing and continuous improvement strategies. Familiarity with supply chain management principles and logistics coordination. Experience with quality control standards and assembly processes. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster collaboration across departments. Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision making. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or related field; advanced certifications are a plus. Pay: $71,893.76-$120,000.00 per year
