Change Agronomy Canada Ltd. is a vertically integrated sustainable industrial hemp business with current operations in Newton, MB & Bruderheim, AB.

Change Ag combines world-class genetics with leading agronomic techniques and infrastructure to provide full-service industrial hemp products to multiple global end markets.



We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Plant Manager to oversee daily operations at our hemp bale processing facility. The Plant Manager is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant plant operations while leading staff, managing production targets, and maintaining equipment and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all day-to-day plant operations and production schedules

Lead, supervise, and develop plant staff, including operators and labourers

Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and company policies

Coordinate equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and downtime prevention

Monitor production efficiency, throughput, and quality control

Manage inventory of raw materials, finished product, and plant supplies

Implement and improve operational processes and standard operating procedures

Conduct training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions as required

Prepare reports on production, safety, staffing, and operational performance

Liaise with ownership, suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a plant, manufacturing, agricultural, or industrial management role

Strong leadership and people-management skills

Solid mechanical aptitude and understanding of processing equipment

Experience with health and safety regulations (manufacturing or agricultural)

Ability to manage production schedules and labour efficiently

Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills

Experience with hemp, grain, feed, or agricultural processing is an asset

Forklift or heavy equipment experience is an asset
