Northern Mat & Bridge is currently looking for Labourers for our Mat Plant manufacturing facility in Prince George, BC.

Northern Mat & Bridge LP (NMB) is Canada's leading Access Solutions Company and continues to grow. We specialize in providing temporary access structures and solutions while servicing many different industries throughout Canada since 1999. We manufacture temporary and permanent bridge structures as well as 3 ply wooden access mats, and steel frame rig mats. Our products are used to access resource rich areas and allow the extraction of these valuable resources while minimizing the effects on the environment.

Reporting to the Plant Supervisor the Mat Plant Labourer is responsible for the production in their area of mat plant facility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Physically fit and able to keep up with the flow of work Quality control and quality assurance of access mats Finishing tasks in a timely manner Working with supervisor to maintain an orderly and safe work site Maintaining and cleaning equipment Other duties as required
Credentials and Experience

Physical labour experience Previous lumber/manufacturing experience an asset Capable of running power tools/equipment Enjoy manufacturing environment/schedule
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Team player Safety cautious Pay attention to detail Have strong work ethic
Successful applicants must provide their own steel toe boots. All other PPE will be provided.
